Piecewise Frequency Design Method of Linear System

The purpose of this paper is to find a new controller design method of linear system based on well-known generalized Kalman–Yakuboviˇc–Popov (GKYP) lemma. Specifically, two dynamic output feedback controllers are designed respectively with sensitivity specifications in high and low frequency ranges. In the end, the plant of a diesel generator set speed control system is given and demonstrated, whose simulation results prove the feasibility of the proposed method and provide advantage in comparison with mixed sensitivity control.
