Multi-Channel Voice Recorder Based on FPGA

By calculating four channel voice data rate and comparing the embedded processor, using IMA-ADPCM compression algorithm, and field-programmable gate array FPGA can save the storage space and solve the EMI problem brought by using high processor frequency. This way is an ideal solution for multi-channel single-chip voice recorder. This article also analyzes the USB communication protocol to achieve a USB memory interface. The design has been successfully applied to data recording system in a factory.
