Approach to Solve Ill-posed Inverse Problem in Image Reconstruction from Projections

This paper discusses the ill-posed inverse problem in image reconstruction from projections and presents a new approach, Multi-criterion Optimization Approach, to solve this problem. Theoretical analysis and test result show that the new approach provides high stability and accuracy with good recovery of visual features.
