Caching and prefetching play important roles in improving the quality of data access. Replacement and prefetching algorithm optimization is the core of caching and prefetching model research. First, Independent Reference Model and Markov Reference Model are analyzed and compared in this paper. And so as the Markov-based Prefetching Model. Then, based on the measurement of Relative Popularity and Byte Cost, optimal Web caching and prefetching model named PR PPM are presented and analyzed. Simulations show that the performance of optimal model.
