With RFID technology being applied in more and more applications nowadays, many researchers have focused on how to manage and analyze RFID data efficiently. Obviously, location information, which is an important part of RFID data, has the characteristic of multiple conceptual levels. Existing methods of RFID data management mainly deal with the cases of non-hierarchy (single hierarchy) or multiple hierarchies. In this paper, we propose an efficient algorithm to mine the cross-level location sequences. It can find the location sequences with items at different conceptual levels to help different analysts making decisions. Experimental results have shown that our new algorithm is practical and effective.
