Special Issue on Computer Technology in Management Science and Engineering
CALL FOR PAPERS [in PDF]
Management science and engineering use system science, mathematics, management science and engineering method, at the same time, combine of computer technology in order to solve the social, economic, engineering and other aspects of management problems. In recent years, more and more computational technologies and their applications based on numerical methods and theory of computation are used to solve these difficult management problems. These pivotal technologies include mathematical modeling, computational simulation, informational technologies and so on. At the same time, these new or modified theories and methods will bring some new thoughts, such as new reasoning techniques, expert system, cognitive science and some others. As a whole, with the rapid development of computer technology, all of these applications in management science and engineering are used more and more widely, at the same time, they also accelerate the development of computer science and management science. So the topics in this special issue will also provide researchers and practitioners an opportunity to highlight innovative research directions, and a growing number of novel computer applications in management science and engineering.
This special issue will publish papers which can be seen as an emerging science of supporting people management activities and it will play greater role in the field of computer science. At the same time, the topic in this special issue will provide an idea-exchange and discussion platform for more researchers and scholars, and more and more practitioners will share cutting-edge information, theory of computation, explore new numerical methods, exchange and build upon new ideas in the field of management Science and Engineering.
