Special Issue on Recent Advances in Mobile Sensor Networks & Applications
CALL FOR PAPERS [in PDF]
Mobile sensor networks have been emerging as an important new research field that bridges several existing research fields, including multi-agent systems, robotics, sensor networks, control theory, and machine learning. This special issue calls for papers ranging from new theoretical frameworks, new software platforms, new implementations on innovative hardware platforms, to new applications. This special issue will publish results in mobile sensor networks to share the state-of-the-art in this field and explore the new frontiers that may be of interest to researchers in the next decade. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
· Cooperative formation/flocking control in mobile sensor networks · Cooperative sensing in mobile sensor networks · Cooperative learning in mobile sensor networks · Connectivity maintenance in mobile sensor networks · Quality of service (QoS) in mobile sensor networks · Coordinated deployment in mobile sensor networks · Coverage planning in mobile sensor networks · Distributed consensus in mobile sensor networks · Distributed sensor fusion and estimation in mobile sensor networks · Distributed task allocation in mobile sensor networks · Robust sensing and control in uncertain environments for mobile sensor networks · Innovative applications using mobile sensor networks
