Realizations of voltage-mode biquad filters using a single Unity-Gain Sum Difference Amplifier

In this paper, new configurations of voltage-mode biquadratic filters with single input and three outputs are presented. The proposed configurations employ a DDCC (Differential Difference Current Conveyor) variant namely the Unity-Gain Sum Difference Amplifier (UGSDA) and use two operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) and two grounded capacitors. The circuits have the following advantageous features: (i) simultaneously realizing high-pass (HP), band-pass (BP) and low-pass (LP) filters, (ii) high input impedance (iii) canonic with low component count, (iv) use of grounded capacitors which is suitable for monolithic integration, (v) no requirement of component-matching, (vi) current tunability and (vii) low active and passive sensitivities. B2SPICE simulations are included which validate the workability of the proposed circuit.
